On a page devoted to various events, there is a photograph of Amy Johnson standing beside her Gipsy Moth "Jason III", holding a flying helmet and apparently wearing a leather flying suit. The caption reads: "Johnnie in the air again. Miss Amy Johnson ready to leave Stag Lane aerodrome yesterday on her flight to China." The flight was cut short by a crash landing near Warsaw, although Amy did travel on to Moscow by train and met some prominent Russian leaders including Lenin's widow.
