Ceremonial key, at the base of the key are three sky scrapers with the word 'Chicago' under. The stem of the key represents a tower, and at the base of the tower are the words 'Water Tower 1871'. The handle of the key has a domed building in the centre of which is an eagle with scroll under and the words 'Prairie Illinois State'. Engraved 'Presented By The Mayor Of Chicago To Amy Mollison'. Part of collection donated by Amy Johnson's father in October 1958. Water Tower 1871 is reference ot the Chicago Water Tower being one of a handful of buildings which escaped the great Chicago fire of 18 April 1871.
