Four b/w photographs of newspaper articles relating to Jim and Amy Mollison's flight from the Pendine Sands to the U.S.A., on 22nd July 1933. The flight was intended as the first leg of a long distance record, but ended in a crash landing near Bridgewater, Conneticut, when their fuel ran out. The couple were not seriously hurt, but their plane (a twin engined De Haviland Dragon named "Seafarer"), was a write off. The items include the front page of the Evening News for July 22nd 1933. Also, a copy of a related advert for aviation fuel.
