Stuffed Glaucous Gull (Larus hyperboreus). Unmounted. An Arctic bird from Iceland/Greeland, which occasionally visits coastal regions of Britain (particularly in the north), especially during severe winters. Like most gulls, the Glaucous will eat almost anything, including other birds - eider ducks, kittiwakes etc. Similar to the great Black backed gull, but has a greyish blue plumage.
