Photocopy of a B & W photograph showing a five-sailed tower windmill (with revolving cap and fantail). The mill sails were blown down in a storm in 1860 and the owner (a Mr. Tate) then sold the site to a Mr. Henry Angus, who built himself a house called Millfield. In 1883 Angus sold the plot to Mr. Harrison Holt, who built Highfield House here.
