Title: Porringer

Virtually complete Staffordshire slipware cup/porringer (only small pieces of body and rim missing). Hard, fine white fabric, glazed yellow on both surfaces. Spots of brown slip decoration under rim and lines of feathered brown slip below. Underside of base sooted. Consolidated for display by John Earshaw (1982). From excavation at Kirkgate, Bridlington (trench A, square 6, feature 4, well).
