Title: Elizabeth I silver coin

Complete Elizabeth I silver coin, possibly a half groat. The crown is visible on the obverse, with a rose to the right. On the reverse are the arms of England post 1340 and the date 1562. From watching brief at Garth Grange, Beeford Road, Skipsea, (grid ref: TA1661 5503), in 1999. No archaeological features were detected, but finds of Prehistoric-Medieval date were recovered.
