Five complete clay wine labels; hard white fabric, pale blue glaze with lettering in black. Each label describing a different wine - e..g 'cyder', 'hock', 'madeira'. Plus a bag of fragments. Also one square shanked iron roofing nail, found with the wine labels. Found in the cellars of Sewerby Hall.
