19th century flame mahogany triple breakfront library bookcase. With flared cornice over six doors with brass grilles, similarly protruding platform base. Shelves have gilt fringe attached. Made by Taylor's upholstery and cabinet warerooms, 12 Ousegate, York. Originally in Sewerby Hall when it was acquired by Bridlington Council in 1936. Subsequently used at Bridlington Town Hall, until transferred to Sewerby Hall in 1995/6.
