A 19thc oak carved elbow chair, with red leather seat, back and arms. Lions heads carved on arms, lions feet for legs. Beverley beaver, eagle and Yorkshire rose carved on back rail. Cabriole legs, joined by baluster x stretcher. Made by the renowned local wood carver, James Elwell, the father of the artist Frederick William Elwell.
